Owners of Pine Creek Cabins are Barry and Linda Lee Hoff.
A lot of people ask us, “Whatever inspired you to develop “Pine Creek Cabins?” First we must mention how blessed we were for the opportunity to acquire this land settled in the late 1800’s by Arizona’s Pioneer families.
The inspiration for the utilization of the property goes back to Barry’s early childhood. His extended family owned acreage in rural Indiana. Initially they built a cabin on “Elkhorn Creek.” Later other family homes were established on the property. They named the place, “Stoney Gulch.” It was a place to relax and enjoy the company of family. Actually is was a “paradise” to a young boy and his cousins. There was freedom to explore the outdoors in a small community minus all the trappings of “city life.”
Barry’s middle son, Jeremy, was instrumental in helping with the construction and design of the cabins along with the onsite restaurant, “Pine Creek Smokehouse.” They worked together many months to see the cabins through to completion doing the larger part of the construction themselves. Linda Lee has added a “woman’s touch” in keeping the cabins cheerfully decorated and clean. Her desire to make guests feel at home is a large contribution to our intended outcome.
Family traditions are a big part of what made America great. Life time memories are things we build on. Our hope is that we can be a part of that when you make Pine Creek Cabins, “Your Home in the Rim Country.”
